Starting with the history of Japanese tea, this workshop features IPPODO TEA CO. from Kyoto, one of the oldest purveyors of premium Japanese green teas. Ippodo is famous for its teas that are cultivated in the lush fields around Kyoto. We will be showing live demonstrations in making and tasting Gyokuro, Sencha, Matcha, and Bancha. Ippodo tea-inspired pastries created by teakha will be served at the end of each class.
