Tea X Chocolate Pairing Workshop is back ! With the huge success from the last event, we are pleased to announce our second workshop with The Chocolate Club Hong Kong. This time, we have also invited the owner of Fu Wan Chocolate, to further explore the ‘tree-to-bar’ story behind each cocao bar.

-

Fu Wan is dedicated to sharing with the world the delicious ingredients that Taiwan has to offer, through the medium of chocolate.  Fu Wan started its life not as a chocolate brand, but as a resort in Taiwan. Warren Hsu was the executive chef at Fu Wan Resort.  When the resort opened in 2011, Hsu’s mission was to provide guests with the very best local fusion cuisine.  While sourcing ingredients locally, he met a cacao farmer who introduced him to the Taiwanese cacao bean.  Hsu was inspired, and Fu Wan Chocolate was born.

Tea Tasting Class

In many cultures all over the world, tea is the mechanism by which we welcome people into our homes or start a conversation with strangers, and the process of making tea is also a way to communicate with yourself and the environment. Hong Kong is the best city for tea tasting, providing both heritage of Chinese tea culture and exposure to Western tea culture. In this workshop, you will be guided through the wonderland of tea by our tea ceremony host, and learn a way of living that is about more than quenching thirst, but also appreciating the beauty in life.
